The city of Charles Town is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, in Jefferson County.

The Charles Town municipal election will take place on Thursday May 22nd 2025.
Can I vote in this election?
City of Charles Town residents from all 4 wards can vote in the city council race. Residents in the highlighted parts of the below map can vote in the election. Where can I cast my vote?
All votes must be cast at Charles Town City Hall which is located at 101 East Washington St, Charles Town, WV 25414.

Is city hall handicap accessible?
Yes! instead of coming up the corner steps at the intersection of E Washington St. and S George St. walk to the right of the those steps about 20 feet and you will encounter a door labeled as city hall. The handicap entrance is through this door.
Is there early voting?
Yes, early voting will be available at Charles Town City Hall from Friday May 9th through Monday May 19th from 9am-5pm excluding Sundays.
What hours are polls open on election day?
On Thursday May 22nd the polls for the election will be open from 6:30am-7:30pm. As long as you are in line before 7:30pm you will be able to cast your vote.
